Introduction To Non-Metallic Fabric Compensators

Publish Time: 2025-08-14

The excellent overall performance of non-metallic fabric compensators has led to their widespread application in many engineering fields. They are commonly used in ventilation, dust and smoke exhaust, and air conditioning insulation pipes and equipment with low operating pressures.

Connection Methods: 1. Flange Connection 2. Pipe Connection

Non-metallic Fabric Compensator (Fiber Fabric Compensator) Types: 1. Duplex 2. Angular 3. Square

Example:

1. FXDA4500×4000F400

This represents a square non-metallic fabric compensator with a long-term operating temperature of ≤100°C, an inner wall size of 4500×4000mm, flange connection, and a length of 400mm.

2. YXDB800F250

This represents a round non-metallic fabric compensator with a long-term operating temperature of ≤200°C, an inner diameter of DN800mm, flange connection, and a length of 250mm.

A type of non-metallic fabric compensator, also known as a fabric compensator or fiber fabric compensator, features a non-metallic elastic element, typically a fiber fabric, that forms the working body. It provides axial and angular compensation and features no thrust, simplified support design, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and sound and vibration reduction. It is particularly suitable for hot air and dust ducts.

Non-metallic fabric compensators are widely used in steel mills, smelters, petrochemical plants, thermal power plants, cement plants, and nuclear power plants at the entrances and exits of flue gas desulfurization, dust removal equipment, air heating, and draft-aiding equipment. They are significantly superior to metal expansion joints, earning widespread praise from users and leading to widespread adoption.
